The Regional Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) provides the building that Whistler Animals Galore currently occupies as well as provides funding grants, and in exchange WAG provides animal bylaw services for the municipality. In all, this only provides 28% of the funds WAG needs to perform its animal rescue mandate. The remaining funds need to be raised from corporate and individual donors and sponsors, fundraising events and other local activities.
